Elderly crushed to death by heavy vehicle
Bhopal: A 50-year-old man was crushed to death allegedly by an unidentified heavy vehicle near the Government High School in Gandhi Nagar on Monday night while he was returning from work and after purchasing grocery items. Gandhi Nagar police have registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem examination.
According to police, the deceased, Sundar Gaikwad, 50, lived in Vikas Nagar Colony behind the Government High School in Gandhi Nagar and worked in a private job.
A local resident later informed his son, Sunil Gaikwad, about the incident. Later, Sunil lodged a complaint against the unidentified vehicle driver.
