BHOPAL: Terming the contest between former chief minister
Digvijaya Singh and BJP candidate Pragya Thakur as a fight between ‘dharma’ and ‘adharma’, Computer Baba said that 7,000 sadhus will campaign for Digvijaya Singh as he “follows dharma and a is worshipper of Ma Narmada”.
Addressing a press conference in Bhopal, Computer Baba said, “Pragya Thakur was jailed when BJP was in power in Madhya Pradesh and
Shivraj Singh Chouhan was the chief minister.
She is an accused in a terror case which is why I said that she doesn’t follow the path of dharma.”
He said that no religion preaches violence and no one becomes a sadhu just by wearing saffron clothes.
He added that Digvijaya Singh is a religious person and completed Narmada river parikrama. “He follows the path of dharma, which is why Bhopal election will be a fight between dharma and adharma,” Computer Baba said.
He also said that BJP could not find a suitable candidate to face Digvijaya Singh. “When Shivraj Singh Chouhan said no to a contest from Bhopal and
Uma Bharti also turned down, the party brought a terror accused in the fray,” he said. “By fielding a person who is out on bail in a blast case which killed several people, BJP stands exposed.”
Computer Baba also told reporters that more than 7000 sadhus would hold ‘havan’ for Digvijaya Singh and would campaign in Bhopal from May 7 to 9.
He added that the BJP would get 100 seats less this time as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had failed to stand by his promises.
