Light diyas & lamps to mark Gaurav Diwas, says mayor

Bhopal: Mayor Malti Rai has urged people to light lamps or lights at their homes and shops in the evening on Thursday on the occasion of the Gaurav Diwas.
On Wednesday morning, mayor Malti Rai inaugurated a water carnival at the Boat Club organised as a part of the Gaurav Diwas event, in the presence of district collector Ashish Singh and BMC commissioner K V S Choudary.Various types of canoeing competitions and water sports activities will be organised during the three-day carnival.
Later Rai and Choudary inspected Motilal Nehru stadium and reviewed preparations for the event. Laser show along with entertainment events will be held at the stadium.
