Madhya Pradesh farmers protest: 8 IAS officers including home secretary transferred

BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh government on Monday transferred eight IAS officers including home secretary Madhu Khare over alleged mismanagement during the violent farmers protest in the state.
Khare has now been shifted as managing director of Madhya Pradesh khadi and gramodyog board.
Apart from Khare, the state government also transferred chairman of revenue board M Gopal Reddy as the administrative member of the Gwalior revenue board.
Officer on special duty in the Mantrayalaya, Santosh Mishra has been appointed as managing director of MP textbook corporation.
IAS officer Ramesh Thete has been given additional charge of commissioner backward class welfare and another IAS officer Deepali Rastogi has been given additional charge of director regional welfare schemes of tribal welfare department.
