BHOPAL: A 33-year-old man, son of a doctor, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Bairagarh township on Friday. A case in this regard has been registered at the Bairagarh police station.
Reasons for the man opting for the extreme step remained unclear and police said they have not recovered any suicide note from the spot.
Jitendra alias Jitu was a resident of Kiran Kunj in Bairagarh.

He was found hanging at the study room in house in the morning after which his family informed police. He stood on a plastic table and hanged self from the ceiling fan using a bed sheet, police added.
Jitendra was married three years ago and his wife had gone to her parents place in Jhansi for the last ten days. His father Dr M S Thakur is a senior doctor at Bairagarh civil hospital.
Cops suspected that the man was under depression. It was also not clear whether he was employed or not, police said, adding that it came to light that he mostly remained free at home.
Statement of his wife could throw some light into the probable causes of his suicide.
