Mystery shrouds death of 7-yr-old in Bilkhiria

Bhopal: A 7-year-old boy died under mysterious circumstances in Bilkhiria locality on Thursday. It was not clear whether the boy allegedly consumed some poisonous substance or was bitten by some poisonous creature. The boy’s body turned bluish after his death.
Bilkhiria police registered a case and were waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain the cause of death.Investigation officer HC Rupesh Jadon said that the deceased Suraj Banjara, son of Naina Banjara, resided with his parents at Padaria Kachi village in Bilkhiria. His condition suddenly started worsening on Wednesday afternoon. His parents and family members rushed him to a private hospital located near Ayodhya Bypass from where he was referred to Hamidia hospital after primary treatment. He died at Hamidia hospital on Thursday afternoon around 2pm while undergoing treatment. Acting on information, Bilkhiria police reached the spot and registered a case.
HC Jadon said that prima facie it is suspected that the boy consumed some poisonous substance while playing and died but the actual cause of death would be clear after receiving the full PM report. Further investigations were on in the case.
