According to the Abbotsford Police Department, the shootout took place at 9:22 am in the 31300 block of Ridgeview Drive. It is learnt that the shooter was waiting in a car parked on the roadside, and when Sahsi sat in his vehicle, the assailant fired shots at him and fled in his car.

The Abbotsford Police Department said that as the officers reached the spot after getting information, they discovered a 68-year-old man inside the vehicle suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving medical efforts of first responders, the man succumbed to his injuries.
“No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is still in its early stages, and additional resources have been deployed to support efforts in uncovering the full circumstances surrounding this incident. The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit is transitioning the investigation to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), which will be providing further updates as the investigation advances,” said Sergeant Paul Walker.
“As a precaution, three nearby schools were briefly placed under a shelter-in-place protocol. No students were harmed or directly impacted,” said the police.
His company, Canam Group’s website informs that they are recognised in over 40 countries for their transparent and sustainable business practices, and the company has been a partial link in the global textile supply chain since the early '90s.
In the community circles, Sahsi was also known for his philanthropy. Most of the workers in the company were from Punjab. He had his business in Kandla, Gujarat, also.
Coming from a farmer's family, Sahsi migrated to Canada in 1991 and did odd jobs until he purchased shares in a sick unit. He then transformed it into a leading name in the world of clothing recycling.

This is most likely Khalistanis doing their work. They would have tried to extort money from him and he would have refused. They rule like Hamas in Gaza, by intimidating every Sikh in Canada.Read allPost comment
