SIRSA: Sirsa police have arrested a man from
Punjab for allegedly sitting on the chair of the additional sessions judge (ASJ) in the Sirsa district court complex and then kicking the door of the additional chief judicial magistrate (ACJM)'s court.
The incident took place at 9am on Monday, when Punjab's Mansa resident Karmjit Singh came to the court in connection with the hearing of a police case filed by his wife against him.
He was detained from the spot and arrested after the registration of a case in the evening. He was produced in court on Tuesday and remanded in judicial custody.
Police said the accused is a teacher in Punjab. His wife had accused him of dowry harassment after a family dispute.
