‘Sikh should head Punjab & Sind Bank’

Newly elected Rajya Sabha member from Punjab Vikramjit Singh Sahney said on Wednesday a Sikh should have been appointed as chairman-cum-managing director of Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB) as agreed by the central government in April, 1980.

CHANDIGARH: Newly elected Rajya Sabha member from Punjab Vikramjit Singh Sahney said on Wednesday a Sikh should have been appointed as chairman-cum-managing director of Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB) as agreed by the central government in April, 1980.
Sahney’s reaction came a day after Swarup Kumar Saha joined as managing director and chief executive officer of the Punjab and Sind Bank.
