Chennai floods: Special camps to be held till Dec 28 to collect applications for duplicate ration cards

The Tamil Nadu government will hold special camps in more than 62 locations in flood-hit Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Cuddalore districts till December 28 for collecting applications for duplicate ration cards and LPG documents.

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government will hold special camps in more than 62 locations in flood-hit Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Cuddalore districts till December 28 for collecting applications for duplicate ration cards and LPG documents.
People can also apply for replacement of lost LPG cylinders.
In all such camps, officials from civil supplies and consumer protection department along with oil company representatives will be present to receive the applications, which would be forwarded after scrutiny.

The camps in Chennai will be held at Tondiarpet, Mylapore, Egmore, Mambalam, Purasawalkam, Aynavaram, Guindy, Perambur Velachery and Aminjikarai.
