Rs 10 lakh relief to kin of 2 killed in Dubai fire

CHENNAI: Chief minister M K Stalin has announced a solatium of 10 lakh each to the families of the two men from Tamil Nadu from the chief minister’s relief fund, who were charred to death in a fire accident at their residence at Dubai on April 15.
Expressing deep grief, Stalin said the government has initiated efforts through the Indian Embassy in Dubai to bring the bodies of the two men to the country.He said he has directed the minister of minorities welfare, non-resident Tamil welfare, refugees, and evacuees Gingee K S Masthan to initiate efforts to bring the bodies to the country.
