CHENNAI:
BJP state president K Annamalai on Wednesday said chief minister M K Stalin will soon say 'Jai Shree Ram'.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai, Annamalai said, "The activities of the BJP has brought fear for
DMK and so, DMK is in a position to reverse their previous stand on atheism. They (DMK) have understood that their principle of atheism will not succeed in Tamil Nadu."
Welcoming the World Conference on Lord Murugan to be held in Palani on August 24 and 25, Annamalai quipped, "Going by the speed of the govt, I think that our CM will soon say 'Jai Shree Ram'. Before the 2026 assembly election, our ministers will compete with themselves to say ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and ‘Vetrivel Muruganukku Arogara.’”
Annamalai said HR and CE minister P K Sekarbabu understood the mindset of the people in the state and laid the foundation stone for changing the govt's stand on atheism.
