NAMAKKAL: A 60-year-old woman in Namakkal district, who has been bedridden for the past six months following a stroke, wanted to cast her votes. When Kamala of Kaveri RS near Pallipalayam expressed her wish, her son and daughter-in-law arranged an ambulance to take her to the polling station and help her cast her votes.
“My mother-in-law was keen on casting her vote. So, we felt it was our duty to support her wish. We took her to the polling station in an ambulance. We are happy that she could cast her vote” said Kamala’s daughter-in-law, Divyabharathi.
