Tamil Nadu govt sets up control room as Gulf tensions escalate; assures safety of Tamils abroad
CHENNAI: Amid escalating hostilities involving the United States, Israel and Iran, and the resulting tensions across Iran and neighbouring Gulf nations, including the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the Tamil Nadu government has stepped up measures to ensure the safety of Tamils residing in the region.
