The protest would continue until police arrest Nellai Kannan.
“The New Year will start with a protest if police did not arrest Nellai Kannan,” Raja told reporters here on Tuesday.
Nellai Kannan, while addressing a gathering at Melapalayam in Tirunelveli two days ago, allegedly said the home minister was the brain behind all the activities of the PM and if someone could finish Amit Shah off, then Modi would also be over. He also allegedly asked why the Muslims did not “finish them off.”
BJP functionaries have filed several complaints against Nellai Kannan.
“I have also spoken to the DGP regarding this, but no action has been taken so far. It is unfortunate and unacceptable. We cannot be patient anymore,” he said.
Raja demanded the arrest of Naam Tamilar Katchi leader Seeman for supporting Nellai Kannan.
