CHENNAI: Citing the death of a girl in Chengalpet due to dengue, AIADMK general secretary
Edappadi K Palaniswami on Wednesday alleged that the Tamil Nadu govt had failed to implement preventive measures.
“Deeply saddened by the death of the child,” the former chief minister said in a statement.
EPS said he had earlier warned about the declining state of healthcare under the DMK regime.
He urged the govt to take precautionary steps like conducting fever camps and blood tests, making door-to-door visits to monitor fever cases, checking stagnation of rainwater, fogging and ensuring enough medicines in govt hospitals.
