Tamil Nadu government transfers Madurai collector
CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government has transferred
According to an order issued by chief secretary Girija Vaidyanathan, Nagarajan has been transferred and posted as director of Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute in place of Rajendra Kumar, holding additional charge.
Following charges of security breach in the Madurai counting centre recently, the Election Commission had shifted district collector S Natarajan and posted Nagarajan in April.
Additional chief electoral officer M Balaji has also been transferred and posted as additional secretary, public works department. Additional chief electoral officer V Rajaraman has been posted as director of Town and Country Planning in place of Rajesh Lakhoni, holding additional charge.

I remember a saying then by Rajaji, who was CM of TN then. An opposition party member asked Rajaji to transfer a particular collector on charges of corruption.
