TN’s civil services results improved, Stalin says

CHENNAI: Chief minister M K Stalin on Wednesday said civil service results improved in Tamil Nadu this year compared to the previous year.
Stalin tweeted that he was happy that "the results in Tamil Nadu improved when compared to the previous year in the civil services examination. To improve the results in the future, the state government announced several free coaching schemes and everyone should utilise them to succeed in their lives."
The civil service results were announced on Tuesday.

A S Gee Gee of Kolathur secured the 107th rank and came first in Tamil Nadu. Stalin congratulated Gee Gee, who hailed from his Kolathur constituency.
In a statement, chief secretary V Irai Anbu said out of 76 candidates who prepared for civil services preliminary exams in the government-run Anna institute for Civil Services, 46 appeared for interview. Out of the 46 candidates, 19 cleared. Eight of them are women.
Governor R N Ravi also congratulated the Tamil Nadu candidates who cleared the civil service examination. "Hearty congratulations to all my young friends of Tamil Nadu who have cleared the civil services exam. A special applause to all the women achievers. I wish all of them a rewarding and fulfilling career in public service," Ravi tweeted.
