Erode: Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) general secretary
TTV Dhinakaran said his party would continue its efforts to “retrieve’’
AIADMK.
He told reporters in Erode city on Wednesday that steps are being taken by him to retrieve AIADMK, which is now under the dual leadership of Edappadi K Palaniswami and O Panneerselvam. “Retrieving AIADMK is our top-most objective,” he said responding to a query.
Training his guns on the ruling DMK,
Dhinakaran said people were not happy with the DMK government’s performance in the last one year.
“DMK captured power by deceiving people with false promises. They haven’t fulfilled any of the poll promises,” he said.
Questioning the abolition of LKG and UKG in government schools, Dhinakaran said that people would give a fitting reply to the government’s action. He then appealed the state government to take stern action against the people involved in the oocytes selling case in Erode district. He also appealed to the government not to close ‘Amma Canteens’ in the state.
