DEHRADUN: Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-R) and aerospace and defence company Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) have collaborated to develop a ‘Security Surveillance System’ which is a system of various cameras/videos fitted in a building to record movement of a person on the map along with time. On Wednesday, IIT-R director Ajit K Chaturvedi announced the institute’s collaboration with BEL for the security device.
