Kuhoo, Lakshya felicitated

Dehradun: Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday felicitated badminton players Lakshya Sen and Kuhoo Garg for their performances in the Asia Junior Championship and Lagos Open Badminton Championship respectively.
Lakshya Sen won the Badminton Asia Junior Championship held at Jakarta in Indonesia and became the third Indian to do so after Gautam Thakkar (1965) and PV Sindhu (2011), while Kuhoo won a gold and a silver medal in the Lagos International badminton championship in women doubles and mixed doubles category.
Rawat announced a cash reward of Rs 5.5 lakh to Lakshya Sen and Rs 2 lakh to Kuhoo Garg. CM Rawat said that both players have made Uttarakhand proud and would continue to do so in future.
