21-year-old stabbed to death in Anand Parbat jungle, 2 including minor nabbed

New Delhi: A day after a 21-year-old man was allegedly taken away to a jungle and murdered in central Delhi’s Anand Parbat, police have arrested a man and apprehended a minor boy in connection with the case.

“Technical and local intelligence led the team to identify the accused as Virat (22), who was later arrested,” said DCP (central) Rohit Rajbir Singh, adding that the knife used in the crime was also seized and a 15-year-old boy was apprehended.

The accused told cops that the man and his friends had allegedly assaulted their friend two days before the incident, leading to a confrontation on the day. Police efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the co-accused.
