Arvind Kejriwal' s routine in Tihar jail

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was sent to 15-day judicial custody a day ago in connection with the now scrapped liquor policy case, began Tuesday morning with tea and breakfast in Tihar Jail, as per prison rules, sources said.

'Jail Number 2'

Within the confines of Jail Number 2, Arvind Kejriwal finds solace in his designated isolation room, accompanied by a modest setup consisting of a table and chair, thoughtfully provided for the accommodation of three books, adhering to the directives set forth by the court.

​'Glucometer, isabgol, toffees...'

Arvind Kejriwal also kept a sugar sensor, glucometer, isabgol, glucose, and toffees, essential for any unexpected fluctuations in his blood sugar levels.

How Delhi CM spent his night in Tihar jail

Arvind Kejriwal chose to sleep on his own bed instead of the regular one provided by the jail. Despite the small space, he didn't express any discomfort.

​Used mosquito net

Ensuring a good night's rest, Arvind Kejriwal used a mosquito net during his sleeping hours.

​Yoga and meditation

Kejriwal dedicates his early hours to the practice of yoga and meditation.

Breakfast at 6.40 am

In the morning, Arvind Kejriwal is served his breakfast and tea promptly at 6.40 am, as per prison rules. He is also allowed to have home-cooked meals.

Allowed to watch TV, meet lawyers

Kejriwal is permitted to watch television and have consultations with his lawyers.

So the criminal is enjoying 5-star facilities in jail. No wonder when he comes to court he is clean shaven, with pressed clothes, and looking plumpier than before
