NEW DELHI:
Delhi Police found a missing diamond bracelet worth Rs 10 lakh and handed it over to the passenger who lost it after she landed at
IGI airport from Kolkata. Deputy commissioner of police (IGIA) Tanu Sharma said that on May 30, a resident of Greater Kailash-II, had landed from Kolkata at IGI airport.
“She went to her home. However, on the next day, she noticed that her diamond bracelet was missing from her wrist,” DCP Sharma said.
The passenger approached the IGIA police station and informed the cops about the incident. The staff scanned the CCTV footage of the relevant place which indicated that a diamond bracelet might have fallen on the conveyer belt while the passenger was lifting her luggage at terminal 3.
“Physical search of the entire conveyor belt number 1 was made and the missing diamond bracelet was traced and handed over to the passenger,” she said.
