DSEU opens UG admissions for 2026–27; registrations begin
New Delhi: Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has begun undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session, with online registrations opening on Monday for a wide range of programmes across its campuses.
The university is offering 44 undergraduate-level programmes (excluding BTech) for students after Class XII. These include nine one-year UG certificate courses, four two-year UG diploma programmes, five three-year bachelor’s degrees and 26 four-year bachelor’s degrees with an exit option after three years, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
In addition, DSEU will offer a BTech-MTech integrated programme in emerging technologies with an intake of 60 seats. The registration schedule for this programme will be announced separately.
The university has announced 2,740 seats across 26 UG degree programmes, 360 seats in four UG diploma programmes and 450 seats in nine certificate courses. Separately, 21 diploma programmes together account for 4,190 seats.
The last date for registration is May 25 for diploma courses and June 13 for UG programmes. The application fee for UG programmes is Rs 1,500, while BTech applicants will have to pay Rs 2,000. The fee is non-refundable.
DSEU follows a Delhi-centric reservation policy, with at least 85% of seats reserved for candidates who have studied in Delhi and up to 15% for those from outside the capital. Within this, reservations for SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC-NCL (27%) and EWS (10%) categories apply as per govt norms. Additionally, 5% horizontal reservation each is provided for persons with disabilities and defence personnel. The university has also earmarked supernumerary seats for Kashmiri migrants and NRI/PIO candidates.
The minimum eligibility for most UG programmes is passing Class XII or an equivalent qualification, including vocational pathways such as NTC, NAC, CITS or NSQF Level 4.0 certification. However, programmes such as BSc Physical Sciences, BSc Life Sciences and Diploma in Pharmacy require a science background in Class XII. Admissions to the Diploma in Pharmacy will be conducted separately in accordance with Pharmacy Council of India regulations.
As part of its NEP-aligned academic structure, DSEU allows multiple entry and exit options, enabling students to leave with a certificate after one year, a diploma after two years, or a degree after three years.
According to the academic calendar, classes for the new session will commence on July 1.
