Gurmeet Ram Rahim goes to jail and his followers run amok, you find yourself wondering if it’s really that easy to become a 'baba' or 'maa' and amass a following of hundreds of thousands, well, it is.

At least those in showbusiness who have studied such godmen and women say so, and they say that it’s even easier for them to play one on screen. Why? Because fake godmen and godwomen are aplenty in our country, we've all grown up watching them around us, and that saves a lot of time of character study! From 'OMG - Oh My God' to the blockbuster 'PK', to plenty of other smaller films, many have taken on this industry in recent years. Here's their take:
