Watch: Lawyers throw fists and kicks in violent clash at Sahibabad GST office

GHAZIABAD: A fight broke out between a woman lawyer and her male counterpart at the SGST department office in Mohan Nagar on Tuesday, under the jurisdiction of Sahibabad police station, officials said.Three videos of the incident went viral on social media platforms. In the videos, a woman advocate was seen holding the collars of two men, and she slapped and kicked them as well.Another video shows the male lawyer assaulting the female lawyer while some people try to intervene. The female lawyer was injured in the scuffle. Upon receiving information, the police arrived and brought both parties to the station.During the altercation, someone recorded the incident and shared it on social media.Nimish Patil, DCP Trans-Hindon, told TOI that both groups came to the GST office with their respective clients. Later, a heated argument was exchanged between them over a client, and then it turned into a fight.“Immediately, a police team reached the spot after getting information about it. Both parties filed complaints against each other with the police. The police stated that further action will be taken after an investigation,” he said.
