"It also appears that the Parrikar government is keen in continuing with the scams and scandals in ESG going by the recent decision of the government to give six months extension to the controversial CEO of ESG Manoj Srivastava," stated D'Mello.
FFFG had given three memorandums to the chief minister giving documentary evidences exposing the scams, mismanagement in ESG on account of the unilateral and corrupt style of functioning of the CEO.
"It's really shocking to know that CM Parrikar who himself had exposed the misdeeds of the CEO-ESG in the Goa legislative assembly has now given his approval for the extension of the term of the CEO," D'Mello said.
The government had reconstituted the general body and governing body of ESG on May 25. The new body includes chief minister as chairman, Vishnu Wagh as vice chairman and others.
