South Asian film fete from Sept 15

PANAJI: The South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) 2011 with the theme 'Celebrating the spirit of South Asian Cinema' will be inaugurated on September 15 by chief minister Digambar Kamat.
Following the inauguration, Goa will witness a magnificent blend of Maldivian and Goan music. Maldivian singing sensation Unoosha and Goa's Sonia Shirsat and Band A-26 will bring about an enchanting panorama of cross-cultural music.
Unoosha started singing at a very young age. She and her band have performed at some of the most exclusive resort chains in Maldives.
Rated as the best Fadista in India, Sonia Shirsat has toured across the globe.
A26 in their first year successfully performed at a total of 90 live shows in Goa, Bangalore and Mumbai.
