GURGAON: The managing director of a company accused of molesting a 25-year-old woman was granted bail on Wednesday. The accused was arrested on Tuesday after the woman alleged that he forced her to consume beer, forcibly tried to kiss her and touched her inappropriately.

A resident of Raipur in Chattisgarh, the victim came to Delhi in search of a job after completing her studies. She alleged molestation by company's managing director GK Agarwal of a merchandising firm that has its office in DLF phase II.

The victim filed a complaint against the accused in DLF Phase II police station. In her complaint, she said that she went to the firm's office for an interview and she was immediately hired. On Monday, Aggarwal (41) took her in his car on the pretext of showing another office of the company on Monday.

The complainant told cops that on their way, he bought beer and forced her to consume the same. He then forcibly tried to kiss her and touched her inappropriately. He then dropped her off at the Sikandarpur metro station. "The woman later shared the information with her friends. They then took her to the police station later in the night and a FIR was registered in the wee hours of Tuesday under section 354 (molestation). The accused was arrested on Tuesday, and he was produced in the court on Wednesday where he was granted bail," said ACP Hawa Singh.
