Assam logs 2,046 fresh new Covid cases, 22 deaths
Covid-19 cases in Assam continued to decline for the third consecutive day as the state registered 2,046 fesh cases on Wednesday. While 132,557 tests were conducted, the state returned a positivity rate of 1.54%, with 22 people succumbing to the virus over the past 24 hours.

Golaghat district reported the highest number of cases at 228, followed by Kamrup-M at 207 cases.
On Tuesday, 2,169 cases were recorded in Assam, while on Monday the number of new cases in the state was 2,375.
