Bhutan PM Tobgay arrives in Guwahati

Guwahati: Bhutan Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay arrived in Assam on Monday. Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya and CM Himanta Biswa Sarma after welcoming him had a meeting with him at the Lok Bhavan here .

A Lok Bhavan statement said that the meeting was on discussions on a wide range of issues on strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation in the larger interest of the northeast region with particular focus on Assam. A cultural evening showcasing the rich cultural heritage and traditional hospitality of Assam was also organised in honour of the visiting dignitary.
