Gauhati HC reserves order on Mahanta bail plea in Zubeen case
Guwahati: A single-judge bench of Gauhati high court on Monday reserved the order in the bail plea hearing of Shyamkanu Mahanta in the Zubeen Garg death case till May 29 after arguments were concluded.
The court of Justice Mitali Thakuria heard the bail plea after Justice Parthivjyoti Saikia recused himself from the hearing.
Mahanta, the organiser of the North East India Festival in Singapore, moved high court after the fast track court denied him bail.
