Itanagar: The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) on Wednesday reiterated its demand for immediate creation of Kamle and Pakke-Kessang districts with Raga and Lemmi as the districts headquarters.
The association has set a deadline of 10 days for the state government to fulfill its demands and further threatened to launch an aggressive movement if the state government fails to look into the matter.

In a memorandum to chief minister Nabam Tuki, the association stated that the areas were isolated from its original district headquarters and creation of districts would not only benefit the people but also the state.
The ANYA also demanded for capital punishment of the rapists and murderers of a three-year-old girl at Bhalukpong on July 2 and a class-XI girl student at Yazali on August 12 this year. It said the alleged rapists should be hanged. It also expressed disappointment at the sheer delay in trial of both the cases.
Further, the association also demanded for immediate construction of road from Gumto to Kimin via Dingka, Bogoli, Habia and Lora villages and from Tarasso to Balijan via Ramghat, and detection and deportation of Chakma-Hajong refugees from Nyishi dominated areas.
