MLAs and MLCs will be felicitated

Belagavi: Ratnaprabha Bellad, president, district unit of Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva Lingayat Mahasabha announced that the members of the community who have been elected to legislative houses from various constituencies of the district will be felicitated in Belagavi on Saturday. She was addressing media at Kannada Sahitya Bhavan in Belagavi,on Thursday.The felicitation programme will be held on the premises of Veerashaiva Lingayat women welfare society building near SP’s office in Subhash Nagar, Belagavi, on June 24 at 11 am. Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, MLAs Shashikala Jolle, Laxman Savadi, Bharamagowda Kage, Nikhil Katti, Ganesh Hukkeri, Mahantesh Koujalagi, Ashok Pattan, Babasaheb Patil and member of legislative council Hanumanta Nirani will be felicitated. Gurusiddha Swamiji of Karanji Mutt Belagavi, Nijalingeshwar Swamiji of Duradundeshwar Mutt, Nidasosi will be present. Veerashaiva Lingayat Mahasabha national vice president and KLE Society’s working president Prabhakar Kore will inaugurate. MP Mangala Angadi, Rajya Sabha Member Iranna Kadadi, MP Annasaheb Jolle, Legislative Council Member Prakash Hukkeri, Retired Regional Commissioner MG Hiremath will be the chief guests. Ratnaprabha Bellad will preside, she said.

Hubballi: Hema-Vema Reddy Jana Sangha will organise various events on the occasion of Hemareddy Mallamma Jayanti on June 25 at Srinivas Garden, Hubballi. Speaking to mediapersons, member Manjunathreddy Kiresur said that at 10.30am, felicitation ceremony for the new MLAs of the community, Pratibha Puraskar for the talented students of the community who scored more than 85% marks in SSLC and II PUC exams of the year 2022-23, will be organised. He said, Vemanananda Swamiji of Harihar Erehosahalli Reddy Peetha will preside. Parliamentary affairs minister HK Patil, transport minister Ramalingareddy, small scale industries minister Sharanbasappa Darshanapu will attend. MLA NH Konareddy will be present, he said.
