Bakery worker stabbed to death by his brother, aide in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A 26-year-old bakery worker, Habeeb Pasha alias Sameer, was allegedly stabbed to death by his younger brother, Md Farooq Pasha, 24, during an argument at their house in Yakutpura on Sunday night.
In her complaint to police, the deceased’s sister Shabana Begum, a resident of Yakutpura, stated that she received information around 8pm from locals that her brothers were quarrelling at their house in Sadath Nagar, Yakutpura.
Shabana Begum rushed to the house and found her brother Habeeb Pasha lying dead in a pool of blood with multiple stab injuries on the chest, ribs and other parts of the body. She told police that her younger brother, Md Farooq Pasha, attacked Habeeb with a knife and killed him.
The complaint further alleged that Arshad alias Barfu, 26, a resident of Badlaguda, assisted Farooq during the attack. Rein Bazar inspector C Nethaji said that Habeeb used to quarrel frequently with his family members in an inebriated condition. “As he did not mend his ways despite warnings, Farooq attacked him with a knife and killed him," the inspector said.
On Shabana Begum’s complaint, a case was registered under Section 103(1) (Murder), read with 3(5) (Common intention), of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against Farooq and Arshad. The accused have reportedly been taken into custody.
