AIADMK Faces Major Setback As Three MLAs Resign From Shanmugam–Velumani Faction In Tamil Nadu

AIADMK has suffered a major setback as three MLAs from the Shanmugam–Velumani faction resigned after voting in favour of the TVK government during the confidence vote. The resignations come amid promises of accommodation in upcoming bypolls. Meanwhile, some rebel MLAs have begun reconciliation talks with AIADMK leadership under Edappadi K. Palaniswami. The developments follow a fractured mandate where TVK emerged strongest but fell short of majority, triggering political realignments and internal instability within AIADMK.
