NEW DELHI: The IPL 2026 league stage has officially come to an end after 70 action-packed matches, and the tournament has now entered the knockout phase.Four teams have sealed their place in the playoffs and will now battle for the IPL 2026 title, while six teams have been eliminated from the competition. PBKS won seven matches, lost six and had one no-result, with an NRR of +0.309. Delhi Capitals finished sixth with 14 points from seven wins and seven defeats. Their poor net run rate of -0.651 hurt their playoff chances. KKR ended their campaign with 13 points. They won six matches, lost seven and had one no-result, with an NRR of -0.147. Five-time champions Chennai Super Kings endured a disappointing campaign, finishing eighth with 12 points. CSK managed six wins and eight defeats, ending with an NRR of -0.345. Mumbai Indians had a disastrous season and finished ninth in the standings. MI won only four matches and lost 10, finishing with eight points and an NRR of -0.584. Lucknow Super Giants also ended with eight points after winning four and losing 10 matches. Their NRR of -0.740 was the worst among all teams this season.
