Bayyaram plant: TRS takes on BJP

Hyderabad: Strongly condemning Union minister G Kishan Reddy’s remarks that Bayyaram steel plant was not feasible, TRS MPs on Tuesday said that if the BJP MP gets it sanctioned from the Centre then the party would give full credit to him apart from felicitating him.
They said the state would extend all support for the plant. At a press meet, minister Puvvada Ajay and TRS MPs Nama Nageswara Rao and Maloth Kavitha said the Centre announced it would set up the plant but is now saying there was no quality iron ore at Bayyaram.“We will raise the issue in Parliament in next session,” Rao said. tnn
