Bhatti meets Kharge on J’khand polls
Hyderabad: Deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday met AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi and briefed him on the latest political developments in Jharkhand ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
According to party sources, Bhatti Vikramarka recently visited Jharkhand on the directions of the Congress high command and submitted a report to Kharge regarding the political situation and party affairs in the state.
During the meeting, Bhatti informed Kharge about his discussions with Jharkhand chief Minister Hemant Soren and efforts being made to bring all constituents of the INDIA alliance onto a common platform for the Rajya Sabha elections.
He also informed Kharge on consultations held with local Congress leaders and alliance partners in Jharkhand to strengthen coordination and formulate a united strategy aimed at ensuring victory in the Rajya Sabha polls.
