HYDERABAD: The Union ministry of road transport and highways has sanctioned a project widening and strengthening to two lanes (with paved shoulders) of Mahbubnagar-Chincholi section in
Karnataka.
The project will be taken up a cost of Rs 703 crore.
Excise and tourism minister V Srinivas Goud, a few months ago, had requested Union minister
Nitin Gadkari to finalise the tenders for the national highway project at the earliest.
CM KCR during his meeting with Gadkari had also sought the Centre to grant technical and administrative clearance for the project. “This is going to boost development of Mahbubnagar apart from improving connectivity from Karnataka,” Goud said.
