History-sheeter murdered

HYDERABAD: A history-sheeter Syed Wahid, 30, of Roda Mistry Nagar, Jeedimetla, was found murdered in the bushes near HMT on Wednesday. Cops said Wahid along with his friends -Yousuf, Nawaz and Noor - had consumed liquor in an isolated place near HMT factory on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning, locals noticed his body and alerted police. "We suspect that in an inebriated condition, the trio might have attacked Wahid with a sharp weapon and killed him.The trio are absconding," Jeedimetla inspector A Sanjeeva Rao said.
A murder case under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC)was booked and his body was shifted for post-portem.
