'Jilted' lover ends life
K R Swapna, a native of Kerala, ended her life after her lover Kiran allegedly refused her marriage proposal.
She was working in Padmavathi hospital at Himayathnagar for the last six months and was staying in a room on the fourth-floor of the hospital.
Narayanaguda sub-inspector T Ramana Rao said a quarrel ensued between Swapna and Kiran over the marriage proposal two days ago. Depressed over this, Swapna gulped the sleeping pills on Wednesday night. Police have registered a case.
