KCR may ban Bajrang Dal in T: Bandi

Hyderabad: BJP state chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday claimed that there was a bid to ban the Bajrang Dal in Telangana.
Addressing the OBC Morcha meeting in Nagole, he said, “In Karnataka, Congress promised in its manifesto that they will ban Bajrang Dal. After Congress win in Karnataka, chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is thinking to ban it in Telangana even before Congress here makes any statement on this.In Telangana, neither Muslims nor any other section wants a ban on Bajrang Dal, but the CM may take such a step hoping to get political mileage.”
Supporting Bajrang Dal, he said, “They never incited any violence in the state, they respond only when there is injustice meted out to Hindus. But whenever Bajrang Dal talks about Hindus, they are blamed as a communal organisation. This is unfair .”
