They will take on MIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi and TRS’ A Narendra respectively.
Almost all important BJP contestants who will be going to elections in the first phase will be filing their nomination papers on the last day, i.e. on Wednesday. BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu will accompany Secunderabad LS seat candidate Bandaru Dattatreya and Vijayashanti when they file their nominations.
On reports of the TDP asking the BJP to make some changes in the list of constituencies already agreed upon, specifically on Proddatur and Kadiri, Indrasena Reddy said that as far as the state units were concerned there was no talk of reopening the pact. “There is no denying the fact that we were dissatisfied because we did not get seats as per our priority. We wanted at least one seat in Ranga Reddy district, preferably Ibrahimpatnam,’’ he admitted.
However, the BJP chief hastened to add that the state unit was not for any more discussions, though the BJP and TDP leaders in various districts were coming up with some proposals.
