Hyderabad: Miryalguda police while probing the accidental death of a 50-year-old farmer who died due to burn injuries, found that it was a case of murder. Police nabbed the victim’s son for allegedly committing the offence.
Police said that initially they registered a case based on the complaint given by his son
Hari Krishna that his father Rama Lingaiah died after falling into the dry grass, which caught fire when the victim was consuming liquor.
When the police verified the scene of offence, they got smell of fuel. Suspecting that there could be a foul play, the victim’s son was taken into custody by police and he was questioned. Hari Krishna confessed that it was he who lit the grass and later pushed his father into the fire.
