Police attack naxal camp in Adilabad

hyderabad: the adilabad district police attacked a military camp of the people's guerrilla army in a dense forest near utnoor on thursday morning. although a fierce exchange of fire took place between the police and the naxalites, no one was injured in the incident. aspecial police team combing the area came across the military camp located in the dense forest.on seeing the advancing police, the naxalite sentries blasted a couple of claymore mines and alerted the remaining naxalites to take shelter inside the camp. the police could not advance further when the sentries opened fire and escaped.the police recovered a couple of single and doublebore guns and two bullock carts used for transportation of food.
