As was their normal practice, they locked the house with the domestic helps inside when they went out. When they returned, they did not find anything unusual at first. But later, they found the valuables inside their almirah, including gold and silver ornaments, missing.
Police suspect it to be an inside job. The key to the almirah was normally kept next to it and this may have been noticed by the domestic helps, cops said. A complaint has been lodged and investigations are on.
