Saidi Reddy takes oath as legislator

Hyderabad: Newly-elected Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA from Huzurnagar S Saidi Reddy on Wednesday took oath as member of the legislative assembly.
He was administered the oath by speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.
Saidi Reddy, who won over Congress candidate N Padmavathi Reddy in the recent bypoll, paid floral tributes to the Telangana martyrs’ memorial opposite the assembly building before taking the oath.
At the oath-taking ceremony, the MLA was accompanied by ministers — Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Vemula Prashant Reddy, G Jagadish Reddy, Ch Malla Reddy and V Srinivas Goud — chairman of the legislative council Gutha Sukhender Reddy and TRS leaders. tnn
