SC, ST case booked against SHO

HYDERABAD: On a petition filed by a head constable, a local court has directed the Gopalapuram police to book an SC/ST atrocities case against Chilakalguda inspector B Anjaiah.
Recently, Chilakalguda head constable B Ramakrishna filed a petition before the Secunderabad court alleging that Chilakalguda SHO (Station Head Officer) B Anjaiah had abused him, referring to his caste name.
Responding to the petition, the court has directed police to register a case against the inspector. When contacted, assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Gopalapuram, P V Muralidhar said they were yet to receive the court order.
